The new Major Shellfish Jus powder and a Seafood Paste Glace have both been developed in conjunction with Nathan whose input into the recipe development “has been invaluable.”

Major’s new thickened Shellfish Jus powder captures all the true seafood flavours of crab, shrimps, lobster and mussels and is as close as is possible to a kitchen made product. Easy to use, just sprinkle in to add body and flavour to any white sauce. Simply sprinkle or whisk into cold water, slowly bring to the boil and simmer, giving a superb base
for an array of fish sauces. The Jus comes complete with a free measuring scoop for simple portion control. The perfect base for adding body and flavour to chowders, fish pies, risottos, other fish soups and sauces - it will very quickly become a secret ingredient in a whole range of savoury dishes.
